The Trident's used bookstore, adjoining the café, offers a diverse selection of remaindered and second-hand books, excellency-ensured by our dedicated buyers. The remainders (as good as new for half the price) are constantly changing, ever enticing, and make great gifts. Our collection of second-hand books--long shelves filled with pocketbook fiction and hardcover and trade-paper literature--tends toward the informative, the exploratory and the literate. Sections include psychology/self-help, metaphysical books in all traditions, womens studies, natural history, travel, cooking, gardening, poetry, drama, history, and many other areas of interest. The Trident, you'll soon find, is a general bookstore in the very best sense of the term.

Do you have second-hand books to sell us? Call first to make sure a buyer is available (423-7100). Books we don't buy are technical manuals, computer books, romance novels, true crime, underlined or high-lighted books, textbooks, mouldy or mildewed tomes, certain hardcover fiction (mystery, sci-fi and pot-boiler fiction), and anything we wouldn't want to read ourselves or think our customers might not want to buy.
